Volunteer Program
Volunteers, known as Friends of Sumner Regional, provide needed services at Trousdale Medical Center by assisting with office work, visiting patients and their families, hosting in the Cardiac Clinic and helping with fundraising events to benefit TMC's holiday outreach, Christmas for Kids.
We are always on the lookout for people who want to give their time and talents to a good cause! Are you interested in making new friends, helping others, broadening your skills and knowledge, exploring a new career, and making a difference?
Volunteering offers a vast array of benefits. Lasting friendships are formed. Patients and visitors are provided services that are above and beyond the normal healthcare setting. Knowledge is gained about the medical field and new skills are developed such as computer skills, clerical skills and people skills. Many volunteers come to work at Trousdale Medical Center to make a decision about changing careers or about pursuing educational opportunities.
